A Special Two-Day Wine Tasting Event

The Madera Vintners Association’s family wineries will host the Madera Wine Trail’s “Holiday Spirit Weekend” on November 8 through 9, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Start your holiday season celebrations on the Madera Wine Trail! Enjoy wine tasting at each participating winery, live music, delicious food and holiday gift shopping! 

How it Works...

With your ticket, start your tour at any participating winery, either Saturday or Sunday. At the winery you will receive a passport wine glass & wristband good for wine tasting all weekend. Taste a wide variety of local wines as you visit each participating winery on the Madera Wine Trail, and enjoy other activities and food which are available.

Transportation is not included in your ticket. Designated Drivers are always welcome and encouraged on the Madera Wine Trail, and they are always FREE of charge! Please notify the check-in table at your first stop on the Trail to receive your complimentary pass.To enhance your experience, no large capacity buses (30+ person capacity) will be allowed at this event. Please click here  to read our full transportation policy. Click here for transportation recommendations.

Ticket Information…

Tickets are $25 if purchased online or at participating locations in advance. Tickets are $30 if purchased the day of the event.

When you complete your ticket purchase online, you will be emailed a ticket. Please show your printed ticket, or ticket by smartphone, to any *participating winery any time during the event, Saturday and/or Sunday between 10 am- 5 pm.  At the event when you present your ticket at that winery location you will be given a wristband and wine glass.  The wristband will allow you entrance to all of the participating wineries throughout both days of the event.

Begin your 2014 Madera Wine Trail Holiday Spirit Weekend experience at Birdstone Winery.  Birdstone will showcase two newly released wines alongside the existing flight of award winning wines. Chateau Lasgoity Winery
Join us at Chateau Lasgoity Winery to celebrate the Holiday Spirit Weekend! Lunch is available for purchase from Full-O-Bull deli of Madera.  Come visit and do your Thanksgiving and Christmas wine stock up. We will be offering some whole sale prices on our fabulous 2010 Syrah, and our big and bold 2010 Merlot.  Looking forward to starting off the holiday season visiting with the regulars who come out to support the Madera Vintners Association and looking forward to meeting some new customers! Come out and join Papagni Winery for a fun weekend of wine, food, Music and merrymaking! We're kicking off a spirited holiday season with two days full of great tastings of amazing local wines including old favorites like our gold medal winning Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon or new releases such as our barrel fermented Chardonnay and delightful Pink Pinot Grigio. While you’re here don’t forget to take a winery tour with our proprietor, taste a barrel sample with our winemaker and sample the delicious chocolate truffles by Fab’s Delights Chocolatier.

Quady Winery
A tasting experience of wines, from Aperitif, Moscatos, Dessert, Ports we call Starboard, herb infused wines, Visao, a beautiful dry red and Sweet and Dry Vermouth, called VYA.  Family owned Quady Winery will guide you through a one of a kind wine tasting experience. Stroll through our winery as you enjoy wine, music and treats. Quady has something for every palate (and every party!).  Enjoy other vendors’ treats from the Cowboy Toffee Company, and the Sports Port Lounge with cigars from Perfect Blend Fine Cigars.  Tri-Tip sandwiches will be available from Petruccis to feed the hungry crowds. We also support our local Madera Quilters Guild, here displaying their yearly quilt, and Nuts and Bolts Animal Adovates who save many abused animals. San Joaquin Wine Company
Start your holidays off right with a stop at SJWC. We will be releasing our EPIX Red Blend, 2011 Moody Press Syrah, 2012 Moody Press Zinfandel, 2013 Toschi Chardonnay and our Paul Lorry Pinot Noir. Westbrook Wine Farm
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Westbrook Wine Farm Vineyard and Winery is located about 7 miles from Highway 41 near O’Neals about 40 minutes from Madera and Fresno. We will be welcoming a limited number of wine-centric guests by pre-arranged appointment only during Holiday Spirit Weekend. Premiering will be the 2010 Museum, red Meritage/Bordeaux style field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (8 clones), Malbec 595, and Gros Verdot. Novices and experts alike will also enjoy the new vintage of our heady, assertive and unapologetic, Point Noir, Rhone style blend.  Rounding out your organoleptic journey will be Savvy, our white Bordeaux blend, Faux Fait, a spicy one-time Cabernet blend, Rosato Romantico dry rose, and Uber Rhenish dry Riesling.
