Designated Drivers

Designated Drivers are always welcome on the Madera Wine Trail, and they are always free.

Guest and resident safety is a prime concern of the Madera Vintners Association. In 2007, the vintners launched a Designated Driver Program to promote safe behavior while visiting the tasting rooms along the Madera Wine Trail. The program provides a lanyard pass to all designated drivers during events, allowing entrance at no charge. Designated Drivers are also welcome to visit the wineries at no charge during regular tasting room hours year-round. Be sure to ask for a Designated Driver pass at your first stop on the Wine Trail!
